ghillies 209
hmmm get hold of a balistic program.. this ones now the 'new' map scope program but should show you.. chairgun basicaly theres two bits on the the cross hair... the barrel actualy points up to meet the scope cross hair line. your tragectry goes up then down.. passes at about ten yards dead on the cross hir then goes high at the 'zenith'' or 'highest part' the tragectry then falls on a downwards path to meet your secondry zero (back to fead on the cross hair) then drops below.. so a rough gues at zero's at 10 yards means some where on the 30 yard mark as well...depends on power and pellet. only fault with using 10 yards to zero is now a few inchs out on the distance is yards out on the secondry (30 yard) zero, as in look good at 10..but all the marks after 30 are well out..its well hard to get it right, so use the secondry for a better constant each time you zero........or suffer missing stuff, lose over range and feal i right shit shooter..lol.. because last time you zero'd you could hit at 35...now you cant? now buy a new scope and do it all over again lol..... you need to know the scope height, the gun power (accuratley) the pellet weight and BC... or yake a few days of trial and error to zero th scope to where you want it.... Guest Scuba1
Does anyone know of any software that is compatable with apple mac ?. My work PC has that much security on it I can't even open the Hawke web page. One used to be able to get a windows emulator for mac to run win 98 on it and use the windows programs that way. Then you could use chairgun etc. HTH Michael Quote Link to post
