BellySlater 15
Just purchased myself a new HW100 T/H .177 with Hawke 3-9x50 scope. All my previous years of shooting have been with my faithfull (still) HW57 breech loading .22 Bought the gun from the Country Store in Shustoke (highly recommended), a totaly different shooting experience than I have been used to over the past 15 years- whisper quiet and no kick. 35 yards has been the max kill zone on the HW57, it has really honed my stalking and patience. Can anyone advise on the limitations of my new gun?, went to Kibworth yesterday to "tweek the scopes" and was amazed that I was grouping at 45 yards plus. Anyone advise on the maximum kill range on bunny and feather ? Will different pellets actually make a difference ? Thanks in advance, Quote Link to post
Guest Scuba1
If your groups are tight enough at 45 yards, there is no reason not to kill a rabbit at that distance. ATB Michael Quote Link to post
