SEAN3513 7
we went for a ride out yesterday, as the weather was so nice. ( me and head office) we ended up in horwich (bolton), so i suggested a visit to a local gun shop. so we went to Target Sports of Bolton ( excellent shop, great staff and very well stocked) i had a look at the s/h air rifles and there was an absoloutley mint ( so clean you couldn't tell it was't new) air arms s410 classic.........walnut stock, bsa scope, moderator and a couple of mags. well, i still had the hornet in the boot (oops!) from the previous nights bunny bashing. so a deal was done and i now have "another new gun" ( as head office said). i have obviously been aware of air arms for a long time but for some reason have always overlooked them. i tested an s510 a little while ago and because of the cocking mech ( side lever) i compared it to my hw100. ( and imo it wasnt as good as the hw) but the s410 shouldn't be overlooked and would be well worth condidering by anyone looking for a change. i have read alot about them on here and now i have one i am the newest biggest fan will add some pics later as the camera needs charging, but you all know what they look like !!!! and i guess your all going to say...........told you so !!!!!!!! cheers sean Quote Link to post
Guest buster321c
Nice buy mate , did you trade the Hornet ? So now your one of the many AA Owners To be honest ive been using the Ultra latley cause its `managable` but yesterday i was out with the S400 and took a couple of rabbits out at 35ish yds clean head shots and thought then that it was a good buy ( the AA ) . What calibre you had mate , i guess .22. Im sure you will be impressed with it theres nothing to really go wrong with em , and a service kit would cost about £5 . Get some pics up then mate and make us all jelous ,atb Buster Quote Link to post
