Cronographs

Went to my local gun shop yesterday as my usual one was shut for annual holidays.

I'd just changed one of the rubber bolt seals (.22 harrier) and wanted to get the gun chronographed.

"Not got one in the shop" was the reply?

OK, now I know that some gunshops are more biased towards shotguns and FAC's but how on earth can you service an airgun without checking through a chrono that what you've done doesn't make the airgun exceed the 12ftlb? :hmm:

 

So the question is this. I know about the Combro chrono but as my silencer is 35mm across I couldn't fit it on the end anyway. So, if any of you own a chrono, what make / model / price / and place did you get it from?

i have a combro..........i just remove the moderator and test without it. ( as it obviously dosn't have any effect on power increase)

Well that says it all about some specialist shops doesn't it, lol, like you say how do they service a rifle and hand it over not knowing the velocity, scary or what,, I have had a Beta Chrony now for two years and its spot on, I got it from the USA and delivered it was still 40% cheaper than anyone in the UK, certainly worth a look, hope this helps bud,, atb.
