my 6 month springer always has very weepy eyes in the morning.

my old man just thinks its a cold but hees had it sinse i'v had him. should i do somthing about it??

Yes you should have your pup seen a vet ..it can be many things ..from simply things such as bedding .allergic reaction to breed faults...eyelashes/eyelids genetic faults..However your dad could be right it could be cold or draught in his kennel....Has the dog had this complaint since you got him?How bad is it ?does it clear during the course of the day?

RC get the dog to vet ...

Always best to check with the vet, in case there is an actual problem. A lot of dogs, particularly with what I call "deep set eyes", will have runny eyes anyway, without any other problem like entropian for instance. (ingrowing eyelashes). Our flatcoats all have some degree of runny eyes, and can make them run just by eating food too quickly! First job in a morning is to check and wipe eyes if necessary.
