Guest jt750
Around the north cowton croft area are 2 ponds cornhill farm and moulton lane ends carp to about 18-20. Andy's a nice guy at Moulton lane ends but takes no crap. Nights are best at Cornhill Farm. Also close by is Green Lane ponds nver fished there but heard good and bad. Same as all the ponds. Catterick Ponds used to be owned by Leeds DSA bought by Phil Taylor (who also owns green lane ponds) used to ok ..proper carp to around the 18lb mark not the big fat things you see in Anglers mail /times. Crakehall pond is interesting when we fished it a couple of years ago ..just turned into carp pond from trout recently and fish to 16LB but they aree stocked with those fast growers ..big shoulders ,,heavily muscled and really punch their weight. stonebridge fisheries has some nice fish in to 20+ ..thats just off the A1 south between catterick and leeming bar Quote Link to post
