Bootsha 1,306 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 Yes, I used to live in them, nailed sole variety, but not so much now as there are easier lighter goretex ones about. I still have my original pair which are donkeys years old, had a few new soles fitted, but still as good as new. Top quality leather in them, make sure you treat them well before and after use, I have founf Mars oil to be a good product, although nik wax, dubbin lamb tallow have all been tried over the years. I was thinking about getting the vibram ones, as i need a new pair for the warmer weather and already have lowas, but think the fell boots will be more practical in the warmer months, though they will be used in season as well.
