mccroryart 0
Here’s a painting I finished last night. Its me and the pup plus some rabbits up at the top of the field. The pup has been limping for the last few days. He got up after sleeping on the chair on Tuesday evening and had a slight limp and now he wont put down his paw. I checked him over for thorns yesterday and hoked out a suspect but this seems to have made him worse, there might be another one deep below the surface of a front pad but I think I’ll leave it and take him to the vets at the weekend if he doesn’t improve. He crashed into me on Monday morning and knocked me off my feet and then took off again at speed - perhaps he’s still sore from that though his joints don’t seem sore when I move them its just when I squeeze the paw that he complains. Hannah4181 260
Beautiful painting, very talented. I'd give the pup a couple of days rest and see how he is then, If your worried about there being another thorn inside the pad, try soaking the pad for 10 mins in warm salt water. Quote Link to post
