Guest tewkesferreter
i lost a gill the season before this due to what was diagnosed as aleutian disease, although no tests were done. i just wondered how common the disease is among ferrets. one of the areas i was working was hit by the summer floods and there were a few mink around at the time which i believe can carry the disease although theres believed to be a strain in ferrets that can lay dormant over generations. anyone else lost ferrets because of it?
