A lot of people dont like them ? BUT .

An electric collar would be able to sort this out .Used responsibly.

Its either that or back to basics andSTOP whistle. But expect to do a bit of chasing and shaking.

first try this i did with mine and it worked put her or him on a 40 foot rope when he runs of gets to the end blow whistle and pull on it soon stops them after a week you will be ok.

i think you have had your dog on rabbits to soon mate now she or he thinks if they run along the hedge they will find them

I can vouch for the e-collar. A friend of mine has a dog whose recall was terrible. She could spend 2 hours trying to get her back. She started using the e-collar and now has no problem with her. A bit of advice though, make her wear the collar WITHOUT using it for a couple of weeks. You don't want her to associate the collar with the affect because she may well go back to being 'ignorant' when you get to the stage of not using it. Good luck

WHATEVER it takes ! get her back on the stop whistle ,and don't move on until she is steady .

Keep her on the lead for the first fortnight.Every time you stop .she stops !

Third week tie ten feet of rope to the lead and see if she stops ?(make damn sure she does )

She doesn't get fed until she sits to the whistle.

NO playing

No free running

No dummie work.(she is already good in the field )

For as long as it takes .Stop whistle Stop whistle Stop whistle.

As long as you can stop her ,you should be able to make her go in whatever direction YOU want not her .

She has to know that if she does not do it ! she is in trouble .

If you are not consistent ,she will spot it and away she will go !

Good luck

IVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN A FOX RED LAB BITCH FULLY TRAINED

MY PREVIOUS GUN-DOG EXPERIENCE OF GUN DOGS WAS MINIMAL TO SAY THE LEAST

MY FRIEND TRAINS GUN DOGS FOR FIELD TRAILING SO I HAD GOOD BACK UP

I COULD NOT GET HER TO STOP , THE BITCH HAD BEEN TRAINED TO STOP BUT

IGNORED ME AND THE WHISTLE , I WAS TO SOFT , BACK TO BASICS IF SHE DID NOT STOP

ON THE WHISTLE I WAS TOLD GET TO HER AS FAST AS YOU CAN GRAB HER EAR AND

MAKE HER SIT , THE BATTLE WAS WON , SHE HAS SPOILED ME I NOW THINK GUN DOG TRAINING IS EASY

WHEN I KNOW THE TRUTH IS A LOT DIFFERENT , I HAVE FOUND IT IS ME THAT NEEDED TRAING NOT THE BITCH

BUT HAVE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT, PATIENCE IS THE KEY
