bedlington x springers

Recommended Posts

I have a terrier spaniel cross for bushing. Don't know what the terrier is cos I ended up talking to the breeder about lurchers and fogot to see the bitch, Stupid. Am happy with the bitch, but every now and then I wonder about the parentage. Have been told it could be this that and the other, but am leaning towards beddy blood. Does anyone have any pics of this kind of mix? She is a black and hairy coated.

Great that she doing well. Is your mate still happy with her? The dam was a big bitch, wheaten cross 26"ish. The sire was a bull cross about the same size she was.

Don't have a number, am happy enough with the dog, bought it as being terrier, with a bit of spaniel, but is a first cross. Got her when I didn't really know what was what with dogs. Not that I do now though. :)

Actually a really handy dog, obedient and so easy to train. Will lift sitters in long grass and retrieve well. Will try and put pictures up later. Think I would say though that a 3/4 terrier spaniel would be easier to work than this 1st cross. Doing well now for a ferreting dog now she has matured. Won't ever breed from her so isn't important what she is, but get to thinking every so often.
