Well...not one for taking my time.....went looking today, open minded [as fit is the main consideration] 12 or 20g - s/s or o/u, length no issue and choke [i didnt want a full/full] and under £200. went to first local small shop on way to main gunsmith...nothing in in my price range although some nice, more expensive s/h guns...

got to second main dealer, explained what i was looking for, greeted with a friendly smile and confident staff. told them my history with shotguns so no novice but at 15 yrs old i wasnt concerned with fit or any other issues...just did it go bang and do the job...was shown a selection of guns within my price range and after a look up and down 3 caught my eye, just on looks...

first one shouldered after checking mech and barrels, all sound, gun came right up to eye line, but stock had been shortened....anyway picked up no 2, didnt seem as tight, foreend had a bit of play and when i put it up my eye was not in line on the stock...3rd one checked out again sound...up to the eye and perfect, stock was longer and felt better...about 2" from my eye to thumb and eye bang on centre. tried a few blind raises and again all ok...needless to say deposit placed and they will hold until my renewal date.

it has 1/4 and 1/2 chokes 2 3/4" chambers o/u, only two 'bruises' to the stock and the side of the fore end, with regards to make all it had was an 'Armi Sport' engraved it the metal...does anyone have any idea of this make????

anyway thanks for reading and any info on Armi Sport would be appreciated.
