Hollie 21
Here's mine, Spider at 11 months. As for bunnies, spider didn't give a dam about them till about 7 months, we live in farm land and he's seen them every day along with deer and other game. . . The other dogs would take off and he would just knob around completely un aware! He also seemed un responsive, but then i'm used to collies which are insanely responsive! That sounds exactly like Kylo, now i am not sure if it is because i have had Collie xs before that were so on the ball or he is just useless!!! I really think he would benifit from watching other dogs work but i don't know anyone near me that could help out, i'm sure it will click one day!! Quote Link to post
Hannah4181 260
My friend was forever saying that spider was retarded! I actually started to think the same, he was that un interested and vacant! Seriously though i think a lot of it is just dogs maturing at different rates. Your not that far from me, i'm by no means an expert, infact a complete beginner but if you wanted to come over for a walk and let him watch my mob putting up rabbits, your more than welcome. Spider has his first look out lamping with Fireman, nighttime my time and mooshka from on here. They are all Norfolk way, and were so friendly and helpful to me. Have you used a flirt stick with him? Yes i had planned to take him out with Night time but he has disappeared and never sorted it out, Mooshka, i have talked to her a few times, we are going to try him on a lure but i haven't heard from her in a while, i'm sure i will and he will pick up some good habits Quote Link to post
