Upgraded S400 .22

Hi i done some long rang shooting today, i filled up a old beer can with water and at yrds it went straight through the can easy. I had to aim 3 mill dots high but the air arms s410 put 4 holes in nearly the same place. I was quite impressed with it tomorrow im gunna try some even longer shooting. So im sure if you were a good enough shoot you would kill a rabbit at this sort of distance.

Finally managed to get out Sat night with the .177 here you go guy's and girls

 

 

I have posted another thread on the subject of ' How far you have dropped a bunny ' but i shot 2 sat night and we paced them out, 71 and 74 yards !! They were both shot's that i had posts to lean on, and the pellets were accupells. Before i get all the people saying that's cruel / impossible or whatever your gonna say both bunny's were in an open field so if winged my dog would of picked them up before they managed to get to saftey and die painfully. We both didn't think that the first one was as far as it was hence the second time. Don't get me wrong, i would rather not hit a bunny than wing it and let it die slowly, its cruel that's not for me.

nice shooting mate what lamp you got . i got the deban one buts its got a wide beam at 40 yards it lights up half the feild

tryed what you did and mine wil only just hit it at that distance its an S400 at 12 ft so whats the diff you tell me

 

dont say its the sights will you please got them zero in well

and while we are talking about this can any one tell me what the diff is from the s400 and the 410 apart from the 10 shot i mean

J - i've got a hand held lamp ( 1,500,000 ) with motorbike battery, bought some red plastic sheeting from local shop to make a lens. If i take the lens off it covers the field easy, too bright really but considering it only cost me about £15 all in i cant grumble ! Also when the dog gives chase i can see her no probs. As for the difference i think it's something to do with the pellet being lighter in the .1777 so goes further holding more of it's power ? Prob wrong, if i am i'm sure the keyboard warriors will be along shortly to put me right !

Hi j try it again but this time put a big piece of white card behind the can and you will see where your pellet is going, at longer distances the smallest bit of wind can affect the pellet. also have you cronoed your gun recently.

i can hit the can at that distance but will not go through it

i would like to see this with my own eyes fetch my gun to and cro check both guns and then see how we get on.

my sights on the gun will get the can only in at yards they that goo but my gun will only hit it nothing eles so if he would like to show me his s400 12 ft do that at 75 yards please
