Patterdales and their Types

Recommended Posts

I went for a short walk today, just to get my new bitch pup out with me and 4 year old Patterdale bitch Ronnie.

Half way round the local park ronnie marked an old 'dis used' den. I told her to find it and she was off like a rocket, the pup strained after her on the lead.

Within literally 60seconds a huge dog fox bolted like red lightning across the open green, stopping for a brief glance goodbye and then off.

and just as i was calming down from the initial rush of excitement there was some bush shaking and then the small Vixen made off with Ronnie hot on her heels. The vixen scaled a panel fence leaving Ronnie going spare.

The pup was beside herself with excitement, only 9 weeks and so full of herself, with some gentle guidance i think she'll be a cracker.

These are some pics of Ronnie on the walk home.

Happy Hunting
