weejohn 3 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 SPWRC PROUDLY PRESENTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE UK WORKING WHIPPET CLUB SCOTLANDS FIRST PEDIGREE WHIPPET LURE COURSING EVENT jinx_Rochdale.jpg ( 78.49K ) Number of downloads: 2 A 32 dog stake pedigree whippet lure coursing meeting to be held on Sat 21st Feb 2009 at Stirling Rugby Club Stirling open to all KC registered whippets(no height or weight limits) The course will be run over a minimum of 800 yards with 7 turns on a take up system All runs will be in pairs from the slips Registration between 8.30 and 9.00 First dogs in the slips 9.30 PROMPT. SLIPPER MR AARON ATMORE (Last Waterloo Cup Slipper) JUDGE MR GRAEME THOMPSON (Respected slipper and Judge) Entry fee £10 per dog to be submitted to the club secretary with a copy of your pedigree no later than the 14th Feb Cheques payable to SPWRC SPWRC Secretary Mrs Irene Fairweather 4 Melfort Drive Stirling FK7 0BD A maximum of 2 dogs per owner only please. Each dog will have a minimum of 2 runs Trophys will be awarded to the winner and runner up of the main stake and the cons stake. There will be a raffle running on the day (all donations gratefully received) The rugby club facilities will be open and food will be available all day. The draw will take place on Weds 18th Feb. Admission free. All spectators welcome. All dogs must be on a lead at all times. Racecards £1 each (free to competitors) ALL DOG MESS MUST BE REMOVED BY THE OWNERS PLEASE (We would like to be asked back!!) Camping is available at the rugby club £10 per night toilets and showers available.
