ghostlyease 17 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Share Posted January 27, 2009 Date postponed because of the bad weather, now we was just gonna shift it a week but that would make it valentines day and us organisers seem to be tied up that day so we are gonna have it on the Sunday, thats the 15th of Feb.......... Well, well, well, what will we be doing at this event then. We shall be doing the usual electronically timed runs, and this event we shall be brining the vertical climb! All the usual stuff at the field going on as always, A frame, Mill, we have a few new bits down there too for use while your waiting for runs ect, tug of war (dogs must stay on leads) and the hoop jump. We shall have the snack wagon thats run by Terrys lovely wife Kim down there this event and probably most events this year if we can secure it a bit of hard standing. PM or email me for details ghostlyease@hotmail.com www.aces2007.co.uk We ran a poll on the ACES forum and it was unanimous that people would like the days spread over Saturdays and Sundays so this is what we have done for this year, lets see if it works........ All breeds welcome of any ability or fitness welcome. All dates are subject to change so please double check before attending, dates are announced here also and results and pics posted. This year we have the 100 & 50 meter electronically timed runs, we now own the vertical climb, the mill, Aframe, flirt, long jump, hoop jump, speed pull, tug of war and flyball. We may expand even more as time goes by. We have a burger van attending the days this year with very reasonably priced food. Dates for the year. Aframe Vertical climb Long jump Hoop jump Flyball The venue is Hands Cross, 25 min drive south towards Brighton from the M25, the field is actually on the A23, when people contact me I send them some maps and the postcode also my phone number if people need it. We are doing camping down the ACES field this year to help those coming from further afield at an extra cost of £5, we can loan camping equipment to a certain degree. ACES days are still only £5 all day for all activities happening that day, when the days are announced in this section we will outline what activities will be at that particular day. Snow has gone and we will be doing the lure racing and vertical climb at this event as well as all the other bits we have around the field for you to partake in with your dog.
