Out for a walk.....

And decided to go up this way by the traintracks because I remember being in a barn up there where there was a load of pigeons. Anyway, couldn't find the barn, it must have been knoocked down or something. But walking along beside the train tracks and this lurcher comes out of nowhere, looks at me, and a rabbit runs up into the bushes. I thought someone was with the dog, but then he starts limping down the tracks away from me. I called him, he kept limping away. I ran after him in the hope of catching him, because he was going quite slow. Next thing, he turns down into the ditch (the traintracks are on a height at this point). I went down where I thought he went but he disappeared.

 

The poor thing, I hope he wasn't abandoned or something. But he was quite scared of me and he was limping so I don't know what the story was. A nice looking medium size tan lurcher. He didn't look thin though.

 

This has bloody happened before, with a huge great dane, thin as a skeleton walking along the road. My mum was driving and she wanted to stop (I wasn't there), but my nanny was with her and of course she wouldn't have it, just keep driving, the starving dog is none of our buisness... Next day the dog was nowhere to be seen.

 

 

Don't really know why I posted it, but I just thought this was weird today because I never go for walks around that area. Maybe it was a sign of some sort!
