Guest dances
the likes of havoc, burt, remus and rio are all famous bull crosses because they do the quarry well. As it happens iv also heard these do alot of other stuff well also. Where im from rio has a very big reputation but how did he get this reputation? thats the problem with all dogs i believe the person who enhances the reputation. iv seen rio work a few times and do elieve hes a good dog but not upto the reputation he has however the dog is aging. i do not get on with bull but i must say he keeps that dog well and he will tell you rios daughter bolo(pbuh) had the makings of a dog to make the above list. But as said all dogs are good at different jobs and it does tend to be only the good hard dogs that are heard of. I myself have 2 dogs i work regularly and one cant catch a fox yet hes got bags of courage and could easily make a reputaion as a ceaser dog yet my little bitch wont tackle fox single handed and yet she unwinds hares. scouser3038 1
I think theres a couple of lines that produce very game dogs that can finish the job quickly but I've yet to see a dog from these lines, that has the running abilty to match its gameness, I've heard of them but never witnessed one for myself . I've seen some 1/2 X that finish the job in no time at all !!! but get left for dust on most slips over 50 yrds !!! I've seen some 1/4 X that get a bend on things 50 yrds off a hedge with a 200 yrd slip !!! but struggle to finish the job Find a dog that can run well and finish the job well and you have yourself a good dog!!!! IMHO Anybody know of any dogs with these qualitys past or present??? if so what was/is thier breeding?? how tall?? what build are they?? what lines are they from?? etc ( No pics or names with all the dog robbers about) Quote Link to post
