daniel8822 0 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 i just started making nets a couple of weeks ago and used up a 500g of polished hemp and did not really like them when i went ferreting with them felt bit to stiff, and i was wondering what other materials people use whats the good points and bad points, price and where to buy from. thanks dan. whin 463 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 i use wool that you knit with as when it gets cold you can use it as a scarf the nets keep you warm ask scrutchy he has a big woolen net jersey perfect for winter as when you see a few rabbs you take it off and catch a few then back on with it once the deed is done lol, no spun nylon whatever mateiral you can get as long as its soft to knit with and not to springy , scrutchy you should take pics of the nets we have made show the guy as you no how to post a pic mate Quote Link to post
