purse net materials

i just started making nets a couple of weeks ago and used up a 500g of polished hemp and did not really like them when i went ferreting with them felt bit to stiff, and i was wondering what other materials people use whats the good points and bad points, price and where to buy from.

try spun nylon its quite soft and very usable, im just trying out a new material its looking very very good so far will keep you posted!

they all look pritty much the same in their pictures whats the differences between spun nylon, braided nylon, ,braided P E, twisted P E and all the others out there, the price aint the problem they all round the 10 pound mark. so confused like

i make nets out of spun nylon twisted nylon braided nylon and hemp the way i look at it if it will catch a rabbit and not brake then there is no problem with it.

i use wool that you knit with as when it gets cold you can use it as a scarf the nets keep you warm ask scrutchy he has a big woolen net jersey perfect for winter as when you see a few rabbs you take it off and catch a few then back on with it once the deed is done lol, no spun nylon whatever mateiral you can get as long as its soft to knit with and not to springy , scrutchy you should take pics of the nets we have made show the guy as you no how to post a pic mate

you no how i explianed how to get three or four strands of cotton and make very good nets ,the stuff they use in tattie bags i done that when i was in the bad boys home and couldnt get twine and bored out my tits lol
