If you have that frame of mind, the dog wont pick up any anxiety regarding what you expect from him etc. They do sense how we are feeling better than we give them credit for... Quote Link to post
Brimmer 220
Sounds like a good start to a dogs career! Nice to see them that keen at the early age, don't be afraid to let them sniff around and mark up that age! Quote Link to post

Guest anonymous
just a quick qestion ......when shall i start letting her offf all the time over burys ? Depends on the buries in question. Are they near hazards, close to fences, etc. You don't want to sicken her with lost causes. Let her watch what is happening and when you have a decent bury out in the open, then you let her off. You can always let netted rabbits go errr free in the open Quote Link to post

If the rabbits have a distance to run then ideal, if not, well......... Quote Link to post

Guest anonymous
If she were mine, I'd keep her on the slip lead and only release her if it looks like it's a chase she could catch. Don't want to be impatient, your almost there...... Quote Link to post
