had the same problem with my suluki x bitch not so long ago thats also rabbit mad and will hunt around all day so ive started training her again from scratch,i let her off the lead let her wonder out abit then when she looks back at me i give her two blows with the wistle and when she comes i give her a little bit of meat,and now when she hears the wistle she thinks treat and runs straight back.

 

a mate of mine used an old bit of washing line and after an electric colllor but his dog used to gets so far away and it new it was out of the range of the collor and when he took the washing line off it new it was to far away and used to run.

my bitch molly was exactly the same [bANNED TEXT] she started lampin. she only learned to recall [bANNED TEXT] i took her by the collar to set her up for her nxt bunny in the spot light. it took 3 nites for her to finally catch on that she had to return so she cud get her nxt chase. very infuriating and a real test of patience!! daytime lead and heal traing is the ideal start.

Hi i am having the same problem with my new lurcher he,s about 18 months old and thinks i am invisable how did you fair out with the recall after which method worked best ,
