Quick and easy Woodcock meal

Had a Woodcock with the Harris last night and apart from being chuffed to bits i was also hungry.

As soon as i got home i did the following.......

brested out and cut the leg meat off the bird

chopped the meat in to very small bits

mixed the small cubes of meat with half a tea spoon of dried chille flakes and half a tsp of dried garlic and three tsp of worcestershire sauce

chop four musrooms and 1/4 of a medium onion in to equally small bits

get a frying pan hot with a tiny amount of olive oil in

chuck in the meat and flash fry for about 5 minutes

chuck in the onion and mushroom and drop the heat, stir up and give another 5-10 minutes

do four bits of toast and grate a boul of mature chedda

bang the meat and things on the toast and sprinkle on the cheese

Sit eat and smile, i sure did.
