jazz_11 5 Posted December 1, 2008 Report Share Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) i am about to send off for my SGC now i will be shooting on beaters days and then clay pidgeon shooting,.i have read up all the rules and everything about owning them but not sure what the restrictions are as of me shooting one unacompanied? by someone without a sgc. can someone please point me in theright direction. i am 16 now i can be given shotgun and amunition but not buy till 17 whats the rules on shooting i cant find them on basc cheers jazz Edited December 1, 2008 by jazz_11 Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Share Posted December 2, 2008 Unless there is an "Additional Condition" on your SGC when it arrives, which is extremely rare, almost unheard of I must say, then you can shoot the Shotgun, that is on your SGC at the age of 15. i.e. When you receive your SGC, and are "Given" a shotgun. As long as it is on your Certificate at the time you are shooting, and you are already over 15, then you are perfectly legal to be doing so. SS Quote Link to post
