i had a B&F for sale but deal fell through. everyone i spoke to said i was nuts to part with it so i've decided to keep it as it aint eating a piece. problem is that everytime i go out which is every saturday with local hunt, i always stick to using my 15 footer deben as i know exactly where my terriers are when under ground. i've had my son hide the B&F collar all over the garden etc and manage to find it eventually but it sometimes takes me ages and i end up walking in opposite direction from where the collar is. i never got instructions with this and their are 3 buttons on the front. am i doing something wrong here. i have just put collar about 20 yards away from me in the garden and laid the locator on the garden bench and the arrow is pointing the wrong way. the batteries are brand new. i dig approx 20 to 30 every year so i am more than capable of using the deben knocker boxes. has any one out there had probs or can someone please explain where i'm going wrong. i was out with morpeth last week and 3 terriers all had B&F on so these guys must like them.
