leisure batteries?

has anyone ever used a leisure battery for lighting up stables, barns etc?

 

if so did you find them anygood?

i have used them for clay traps there good in the fact they are gel and sealed and can be run to completly flat whereas ordinary wet batteries tend to lose life if not kept fully topped up try combineing 1 with a solar charger try maplins there very good and cheap they even do solar powered lights
