I live in a house with two other friends and one of my friends has a shotgun licence and a cabinet fitted within the house. Am i also able to apply for a shotgun licence and have my own cabinet with my own guns in the same house? as long as you have a separate cabinet and only you have the keys than you can apply for a shotgun certificate, if you want to store the shotgun in the same cabinet as your friend, then you will have to have his gun listed on your certificate and have yours listed on his (as well as on your own, as you will have access to both guns.
