SportingShooter 0
OK, here goes. As you already have a Shotgun Certificate, then you can have it put on yours Yes, but you will need to write a letter with the details of the gun i.e Action, Serial Number, Type (S/S, O/U etc) and to give details that xxx relative has just passed away and you now have possession of the gun and that it is in your security i.e in your cabinet. You need to inform them within 7 days of you having it in your possession. It will need to be on Certificate before you can have work done to it, but two new Hammers and a pin wont be too difficult to come by, there is a forge in Kent which makes them, BlackMores?? Something like that. SS Quote Link to post

SportingShooter 0
I think they do yeah, but they will be asking you for the "Length of Draw" of the hammers and the "Throw" of the Pins etc. Up to you , but get it on cert first, letter off ASAP, they may ask you to send you Cert in to have it added, so give them a ring first and ask them.
