Can anyone tell me what the material used is for a tail gaurd the black plastic with the small diamond shapes on it

my minds gone blank got some ages ago but cant remember what its called.

X-Ray paper also works a treat. just get up the Hossy and have a rumage in the bins

I did get some X-ray paper from my young lady vet but she didn't have much at that time
