lamping training

Hi All,

Sure this topic has been covered but am training my young lurcher for lamping,she doesnt seem too interested in looking down the light at the mo,so was just trying to get other peoples views on the best way forward,i have a few ideas but am interested in other peoples methods....cheers.

iv got 2 young bullx the one picked it up the first night no problem. the other one just aint interested just have to keep taking them out. try going with a dog that is doing the job usually gets them going

walk her doiwn the beam on a sitter, repaeting the word you want to use . . . . . she'll soon pick it up.

Get the pup out on a nights lamping with an expirenced dog just let urs watch the other catching and retrieving. this worked for me mine is now 12 months old and doing great.. Do this a couple of night untill u notice the dog watching the other and looking keen then slip urs on a nice easy one if poss walk her up to a sitter
