Guest buster321c
On the 27th of last month i met up with red_merle at Shifnal services, on the M54, to collect a parson bitch from him . She was bred by earthandhounds , and i nearly had her a couple of months before, from earthy , but with holidays and stuff comming up , the time was`nt right . Anyway, R_merle had brought her for bushing, but was`nt using her as much as he had anticipated so he thought it fair on her that she went somewhere she would see some work . Shes was cracking little bitch , and all that i thought she would be , very alert , eager to please and intelligent . I was puzzled when my stafford bitch ( 2 yr old ) took offence to her , and although she was`nt aggressive, she put it in no uncertain terms that she did`nt want the pup anywhere near her . After a stern telling , she chose to completly ignore the pup , even sitting with her back to it , ( sounds stupid i know ) and would have no more to do with it . I thought this would pass and they would become firm friends , but i was sadly mistaken and it was just not to be . As the week went by i could see the pup was more withdrawn around the stafford , and although she was very forward with me , she would go to her bed when my bitch came near . So with a heavy heart i resolved that she would be rehomed, ( thats 3 homes in her first 5 months ) , and a friend of mine had shown an interest in her, i had briefly told him of the problem and he had said he would find a space for her with his two jrt`s , at his place in Wombourne . Well i just wanted to say that she has slotted right in there, and its like she was always there , she`s happy , and full of beans , and on the land they have , is enjoying herself and has really come out of her shell , and from what ive seen of her , she will be a fantastic addition to the pack . Thanks to ,Red_merle for passing her on she is now ` Living the dream `!! Quote Link to post
