Geoff.C 0
Well it's largely a matter of personal choice, so you could get many different answers. Myself, I could not be bothered with diver's bottles and stuff like that, so a springer is my choice. If I were about to buy a new gun, it would be a BSA Lightning tactical. Accurate, powerful and not too noisy. The Meteor is a good gun, ideal for a young lad, but limited power makes it not really a hunting gun. I have a very old (40 years) Meteor myself, it is tuned for smoothness and low recoil, rather than power, and will shoot groups almost as good as a true target rifle over a 10 meter range. I used to use it with some success in springer comps at the (now defunct) target club I used to attend.
samwhittam1 0
Well it depends how experienced and how ofter you are going to use the gun. Pcp are anoying with the refills and i dont see the point like geoff, you can get very powerfull spring rifles like the BSA X tactical, puts out just under the legal limit. Spring rifles are cheaper and i think better value for money.
