SportingShooter 0 Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 No, its not too bad. If you have permission from a landowner, then you have the major stumbling block out of the way. What you need to do is the following. Have a look here at the Application form. Then you will need to get 4 Passport Photographs. Send off the Application with all the details filled in, and then ask your two referees to send their recommendations off for you. This is the first step of your FIREARM certificate. You will need to fill out the same for your Shotgun Certificate and also have a further four photos. Send both of them in at the same time along with a cheque for £60 and get a Co-Terminous Certificate, save you money. Then you will have a visit from a Firearms Licensing Officer, who will interview you, ask you a few things and that should go OK. Before they issue you with a Certificate, you will need to have a Cabinet installed and checked by the FLO. And if all goes well. Hey Presto. Regards SS Quote Link to post
