celticwar 1 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 what great idea ive none about them for years cycling ect walkers . but had forgot all about them . my shoot is miles walking and last time out i nearly died lol heat of 4 5 hours out in the sun in full camo, took me to days to feel better . so my mate gave me camel pack ... light fits on ya back like ruck sack carry water every where you go has helped me no end in the heat id say a must have for every hunter Quote Link to post
SteveieP 0 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 If you're taking a daysack (small rucksack) for your kit or sandwiches etc you could try a "bladder" available from most camping / outdoorsy type shops for about £7. Holds at least a couple of liters & has a long tube with a bite-valve, so you don't even need to take it off your back. Because it's not a rigid container it can be pushed in easy as. My lad uses one when doing his Duke of Edinbro' hikes & such Not quite as flash as your kit but does the same job and it's cheap. Quote Link to post
