Guest SJM
Another thing to bear in mind is that dogs which are picked up as strays or handed in dont always end up in the rescue centre for that catchment area, often if a rescue is full they will be moved to another one, I know the SSPCA move dogs around their centres regularly as I often see the vans transporting them when I am out walking the dogs, they bring ones from Cardonald down to the Dumfries centre and so on, so try ALL the rescue centres within say a 100 mile radius or maybe even further if your dog goes missing or is stolen
