fraggle 4
Whats your oppinion or should i say use. I have a webley stingray so realy only good upto 30 yards. Now stalking on my permision is nails as its all open apart from the hedges, so i am thinking of a hide. Hows best to make one as i dont want to be laying down forever. Alos is it ok to put it nr a hedge even though i can see there runs coming from that area. Just new to all this and so far i am seeing loads or rabbits but lucky if i get two per outing. Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks. Quote Link to post

You could try a few things...Find a part of the hedgerow that appears to not have much activity going on around it (no visible movement tracks) and maybe try slotyourself in there facing diaganol / parallel to the hedgerow where there shud be holes within 10-40 yrds. Otherwise you could try setting up something facing onto where they come out. I dont know if your allowed on the permission because of fear for harming livestock but you could dig a hole that u cud put a small stool in orm something then just camo your upper half up. I have tried using a tent pole on just stuck the two ends in the ground making a semi cirle and threaded it through a camo net and lay underneath it. I'm having a similar problem at the moment deciding where to set up for this one part of my permission at the moment,. If you can dig a hole dig a hole! Jack Quote Link to post
