Guest JohnGalway Posted July 4, 2008 Report Share Posted July 4, 2008 Well it's a bit windy and crap here this evening so I broke open my new solvents - explains the headache then. I have been using Hoppes Benchrest for the past while, but I've been shooting Hornady 40grain Vmax which are Moly coated. That always stuck out in my mind so I thought I would try a mixture of 1 part Kroil and 2 parts Shooters Choice It's hard to compare as the Hoppes is brownish anyway but these patches tonight with the Kroil and SC came out cleaner than any patch I've ever used I'll have to shoot it again soon just to see if anythings changed in that department. I also got some JB Bore Paste but I'm not set up yet with brushes to properly use that. No particular reason for posting about this really Quote Link to post
