SteveieP 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 (edited) I would have the suspicion, as probably you do, that swapping out a .22 barrel for a .177 will result in some loss of power. Quite what that reduction would be , I don't know. Moreover, a Weihrauch barrel on it's own won't come cheap. I just gotta question the wisdom of performing any modifications (apart from the possibility the forum moderators might treat any info as power tuning advice, which is verboten) which might not be reversible. Furthermore your resale value may be adversely affected I'd say don't do it but buy a second hand one in .177. More expensive option, but then you've got the fun of a choice of calibers or you can sell whichever you favor least. Edited June 3, 2008 by SteveieP Quote Link to post
