Guest little_lloyd
Its not unusual to catch a crow or two in a larson using a magpie,, Carrion Crows are territorial same as maggy and will come to your larson to see of the magpie,, I have caught a few crows with magpies. As for starlings ive lost count of the ammount i have caught,, Lots of blackbirds to. Quote Link to post
john b 38
Squirrels are another occasional catch and I find that you get non-magpies particularly when the trap is baited rather than decoyed. One of the advantages of this sort of trap is that any unintended catches can be dealt with appropriately with blackbirds, starlings etc being released unharmed. This is another reason why frequent checks on the traps are essential. Quote Link to post
