Dont laugh.

Ive been teaching my beddlington, working type, to retrieve from 8 weeks old, 10 months later shes coming on good.

I've only been using a dummy. When i throw it she will retrieve it. If i throw it into heavy cover she will look around till she finds it.

If i through it into water she will swim far and bring it back. she knows fetch, hold and drop commands. The problem is that she needs to see or hear the the dummy land. If i point her in a direction she wont take my word for it, ive been hiding the dummy and then pointing the location but i end up having to walk her to it. Are there any tricks to get he to fetch without having to see or hear it fall.
