BlueCoyote 0
lol yeah i've always said i would name my next bulldog after that song my favourite is "She's got the gold mine and i got the shaft" too funny and hits a little too close to home
Neil Cooney. 1
Don't know that one, must check it out. My favourite line from Amos Moses is "when Amos Moses was a boy his daddy would use him as alligator bait, tie a rope around his waste, throw him in the swamp". bolio 51
Good to see Jerry Reed is still appreciated, I have a few of his L.P.'S from the early 70's. He's an underrated song writer and one of the greatest guitar pickers. The Uptown Poker Club always makes me smile. Jerry also acted as Burt Reynolds' side kick in the Smokey and the Bandit films, and it was his guitar playing that carried the sound track along. Thanks for the link Coyote..... BlueCoyote 0
yep i'm a fan of Jerry Reeds lol we have the sound track to Smokey and the Bandit on LP (husband bought it brand new when the movie first came out) and i bought the DVD collection with all the movies (the other two suck compared to the first one, but still worth it if you like the cars and music)
