unlock your phone internet scam

Recommended Posts

I had a mobile phone given to me a Nokia2610 but it was locked to Orange.

I wanted to put an O2 card in it so it needed "unlocking" I went on a site which claims to do it for free but when I put all the details in they said they could not do it online.

So I went to another site but they charged £2 odd with vat it was £3.25p so I thought ok I am in a good mood and a bit flush today I will give it a go sooner than going to the pakistani on our local market that charges a tenner.

So I paid through paypal gave all the details and a message said they could not give me the code to unlock it and said they dont do refunds and I should have looked at their terms and conditions.

At this point I went ape sh*t, its a good job I could not get hold of the little turd that sent that message.

There was nothing on their website that said they could not do certain phones.

Anyway I put in a complaint with paypay about the company and their dodggy practices and said I would report both paypal and the website to watchdog if I did not get a refund asap.

This morning the refund was there case closed.

So just beware of robbing thieving little turds. £3 is £3
