madra 0
As a beginer, what is the best way of calling a fox in once spotted in the lamp. Are there any fox calls which can be purchased which are worth buying ? Madra Quote Link to post
dickyboy 1
the best i ever found was a diaphragm call. you put it right in your mouth like a sheperds whistle. the other good one is two brass discs with a hole in them. very simple and good! but by far the best as you always have it with you is off the fingers - the first finger knuckle. alot of practice but easily the best Quote Link to post
cramp 4
i use a acme black call only£6 and the squeeker out of a dog toy Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Learn to use your hand pushed against your mouth. The tone and volume can be varied ,unlike most of the bought calls. This will amuse some of the more experienced lads-Ive recorded the squealing of a rabbit on my phone which was caught by the lurcher and Ive started using to call foxes with some success.Beats paying 60 to 100 quid for the fox calling plyers and tapes! mistwalker 0
As a beginer, what is the best way of calling a fox in once spotted in the lamp. Madra I find that a nice loud "Hoy! Charlie! C'mere and see my nice chickens. You can't miss them, just next to this big feckin torch!" works particularly well. Quote Link to post
