Been working nights and early mornings. Checked the snares this morning before getting off home and this is what I found...

Rooks had had the eye out already!

 

It is now rook and magpie bait for the larson.

Well it could (I think) only have been either a rook, magpie or jay, and the field is covered in rooks most of the day turning over the horse and sheep shit. Seemed a reasonable assumption but happy to be proved wrong! :thumbs:

 

EDIT: The back end wasn't touched though, which I have seen from corvids in the past.
