FERRETBOY 680
me and dad had a couple hours ferreting ,we werent expecting many as today was to try out our new ferret hob i have just recently got only this week.well to say he had never been worked ,he was a pleasure to handle and entered straight away.it wasnt long and we had two rabbits in the long net.nets up and fern was marking another warren further up the hedge.the ferret was entered and a rabbit quickly bolted but the net failed to purse and the rabbit made its escape into the next warren.the ferret was boxed and we moved onto the next warren ,dad went round the warren as much as he could and i droped a few purse nets down here and there.we had a rabbit in a purse net and another in the longnet out of here.our last productive warren had ten or more holes and after 10 mins of waiting for the ferret we located him at 2ft on the field side.another rabbit was pulled out of this stop end ,5 adult rabbits and a now very tired ferret.heres a few pics not many pics as i forgot i had the camera ,but the first four out of the first three ferreted warrens the new team member fern marking eod shot good hunting rew Quote Link to post
