Pignut 4
Have you got Photoshop? That is good for working on photos and bringing the light down. I took one of your photos and had a quick play and this is the result.

Pignut 4
I am no expert but this is what I usually do:- I use Photoshop CS btw. Image>Adjustments>Levels - moved middle triangle marker (found under the box) to the right to make whole pic darker. Image>Adjustments>Curves - moved line to resemble a very vague S laid nearly out flat (does that make sense) - so upped right side and downed left side very slightly. You can always experiment before you press OK! Then using Eliptical Marquee Tool (found in tool box), I highlighted the eye and made that darker (using Levels again). Tried the Sharpen Filter (Filter>Sharpen) but that didn't work well - sometimes does, sometimes doesn't but never over-sharpen for the sake of it. Hope that all makes sense. Good luck. Pignut PS If you get desperate, pm me and I'll give you my email address to send the photos to and I'll have a go and do the rest for you!
