If you live anywhere near the coast and have never tried sea beet can I recomend you try it?

When cooked it is just like slightly salted spinach with a lovely rich texture.

I've been steaming it and freezing small batches for use in roasts etc.

Has anyone tried alexander which is very common on the coast at this time of year?

I've picked some but been put off by the strong smell.

Regards.Mooster.
