CZ 527 .223

hi guys,

gonna be buying a CZ .223 i like the walnut/ blued barrel. gonna be going for corvids at 200yds aprox. got myself a S&B 8x56. but i need a bit of advice please..... the varmint 527 has a 650mm barrel and the american 527 has a slightly shorter barrel. what difference would this make? am i just being a bit too fusy? any views appreciated.

P.S are the CZ's factory screw cut?

I've just bought a CZ Varmint and I'm happy with it. The barrels are not really heavy on them, just a bit heavier than standard. The gun feels nice to hold, even with a mod fitted.

 

I bought mine screwcut. Some come ready done, some don't. If you specify you want it screwcut then Edgar brothers will send out a threaded one for you. I think it costs about £40 more, so nothing major.
