i have just started ferreting and am interested in buying a whippet or a whippet x.

i have always had a soft spot for terriers though and have always kept working patts and jrts its in the family, and would like to know more on working beddies or beddie crosses, would these work well ferreting or am i better with whippet.would they work better with my other terriers ratting and earthing(ireland) and are small beddie crosses suitable for reds.
