Is it god who makes people suffer, or do people make other people suffer???? Is it not the rich western worlds that take a larger slice of the pie and leave the third world without??? Do we not use our power has rich western countries to exploit poorer countries??? Is it not human beings themselves who choose to steal, use drugs, rape and murder each other???? We are put on earth to have freedom of choice on how we live our lives.We have freedom to choose either to have faith, or to disbelieve. If we disbelieve and continue living the way we do, why on earth should we blame god for what we ultimately have caused??? Just some questions i believe are worth considering. Tallyho 181 Posted March 28, 2008 Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 my nan was irish catholic,so she was very much into god, she ended up with cancer, and she used to sit and pray the the big man up stairs that he would cure her and not let her die, she kept telling me that he would help her she really believed that she was gona be one of those miricles, but sadly he didnt help her, where was her god when she was in hospital diein, this is what i ment by good people suffering. she was as god fairing as they came but he didnt help her did he ??
